Wooden House

Wooden house, project study with I.A.

The design of this tiny energy self-sufficient house (75m2) built with natural materials (wood and aluminum) is based on the idea of breaking down a monolith into a spurious figure, dynamic and open – physically and conceptually – to the space of the forest. Continuing the research on a hybrid, heteronomous architectural language, the logic of juxtaposition and assembly, typical of modern architecture, coexists with an adaptive/topological logic that allows the house to interact with the surrounding environment and with the body of its inhabitants: the 30° inclined roof for the optimization of the photovoltaic system follows the movement of the internal space, articulated on a mezzanine floor and a first floor, opening up to the horizon at the highest and most panoramic point.
